Bertie Wooster is invited to stay with his Aunt Dahlia at Brinkley Court; she wants him to keep her god-daughter Phyllis away from New York playboy Willie Cream. Shortly after, Bertie is shocked to read the announcement of his engagement to Roberta Wickham - he hadn't even proposed. Fortunately, she's also at Brinkley.
