Horizontal blue bar

A short novel of two friends thrown unexpectedly into the world of commerce and their efforts to make the situation bearable. Like other Wodehouse books of this period, it has quiet bits and busy bits so is a little uneven, more a series of shorts than a novel, probably a result of its serialization. Although Mike and Psmith appear together in several books, and there are references to events in Mike at Wrykyn, this volume stands alone.

By the way, one on-line bookshop had this book listed as "P. Smith in the City". Bless.
