Myra Schoonmaker is brought to Blandings to keep her away from penniless curate Bill Bailey. But this doesn't concern Lord Emsworth who has his own troubles, not least a new secretary, an infestation of Church Lads and the mad Duke of Dunstable after his Lordship's prize pig again.
Happily, Lord Emsworth has the presence of mind to enlist the services of Lord Ickenham.
