A short story

Rupert Alexander Bashmead has a rival for the hand of Muriel Prendergast in the shape of George Jobson. Being a scoundrel, Bashmead does not fight fair but enlists the help of Muriel's brother and embarks on a programme of self-immunisation to her writings.
