A short story

Archie is a Futurist painter who has not sold a single picture but makes a living through a cartoon strip in a paper. Recently engaged, he is not sure whether to reveal his source of income and asks his friend Reggie Pepper for advice. After meeting the fiancée, a poetess named Eunice, Reggie recommends that Archie keeps quiet.
