Come On, Jeeves
A play
By P. G. Wodehouse and Guy Bolton, it became the novel Ring for Jeeves.
First produced in Worthing, England, in 1954.
Synopsis
The plot follows that of Ring for Jeeves with a few minor changes for the stage. In the play, Jeeves impersonates a ghost, the Chief Constable is not Jill's father and Mrs Spottsworth and Captain Biggar do not know each other when they meet. The latter greatly simplifies their relationship which the book makes an important theme.

I don't know what it looks like on stage, but it reads well and as if it should look good. With a single stage setting and a nice mix of characters it should be in the cost range of amateur dramatic groups. There are several accounts of productions on the interweb including one at the Edinburgh Fringe.
