Synopsis
Two pairs of honeymooners, the Kettles and the Darlings, board a boat. When one half of each pair leave the boat next day on errands, it sails without them. The two left on board haven't enough money for a meal - they pretend to be a married couple. At an inn that evening they sign as Mr and Mrs but in separate rooms and wait for their partners to catch up with them the next day ...
Recordings
Very Good Eddie: A Musical Comedy - on DRG from 1993 by the Broadway Revival cast.

I have only heard excerpts of the DRG recording on Amazon.com - the two Wodehouse songs sounded ok.
Quogue is an area of Long Island in or near 'The Hamptons' and close to Remsenburg where PG had his last home.
