Pom Pom
A musical
| Book: | Anna Caldwell
|
| Lyrics: | Anna Caldwell / P. G. Wodehouse *
|
| Music: | Hugo Felix
|
First produced 28 February 1916 at George M Cohan's Theatre, New York. (114-128 performances)
Pom-Pom is a prima donna of the theatre who becomes a pickpocket and leader of a criminal gang before returning to the stage.

* Wodehouse's contribution is not clear. Some say that he wrote lyrics, some that he helped Caldwell. In his biography, David Jasen says that PG was brought in to 'fix' the show, i.e. to make improvements during the try-outs before it arrived in New York. I've not found any songs for this show specifically attributed to PG.
