Synopsis

A Princess from the kingdom of Romanza comes to America where she falls in love with an army cadet and he falls in love with her. But she cannot marry a commoner - until her country stops being a monarchy. [Condensed from several sources.]

The Land Where the Good Songs Go - on Harbinger Records, catalogue HCD 1901, containing Oh, Gee! Oh, Joy! and 15 songs with lyrics by Wodehouse from other shows.

* I cannot find any clear evidence of who wrote what, as Ira and PG appear to have shared credit. It is unlikely that George G and Romberg worked together - comments in reviews suggest their pieces sounded very different.

NB: The 1937 film 'version' was completely re-written with music and words by Cole Porter.
