Mind your language

Many of Wodehouse's books have been translated into languages other than his native English. These pages list many of those translations in selected languages. As with all lists of PG's works, they are unlikely to be complete but should still be of some use or interest. The main list is split over 2 pages to keep it readable on the average screen. Some of those titles which do not match UK titles are included at the end of the lists.

* The books listed above are the only ones in which I have sufficient confidence to include at present. I may add more lists later (although I suspect that some will always fall into the 'too difficult' category.

Although I used lists published by others as a starting point for my lists, I have independently verified all entries through on-line sales and catalogue lists. Where I could not verify a title as having been published, I have omitted it. Verification of the book identity involved one or more of direct translation, plot description and the plain obvious (what could the Italian 'Jim di Piccadilly' be but 'Piccadilly Jim'?). As I have not seen any of the books in the paper, as it were, I do not know whether translated books are from the UK or US versions.
